1. The short version

We do not host, store, or upload any films or shows. Every title you watch is loaded from independent third-party providers through embedded players. We do not require registration, we do not collect names or payment details, and we do not sell data.

2. Information processed

• Catalog metadata — posters, titles, cast and ratings come from TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
• Anonymous view counts — when a watch page opens we increment an aggregate counter for that title (split by the normal site vs. the anime section). No personal identifiers — just a number.
• Third-party players — once a player loads, the provider's own domain may set its own cookies under its policy, which we do not control.

3. Cookies & local storage

• Local storage — your sound preference, your Continue Watching history (titles, players and timestamps, stored only on your device), and your cookie-consent choice.
• Cookies — a single httpOnly session cookie (sakura_session) is set only if you log into the admin panel. Ordinary visitors get no tracking cookies from us.

You can clear this data anytime from your browser, and re-open the consent banner via Cookie Preferences in the footer.

4. What we never collect

No accounts, no email lists, no advertising profiles, no fingerprinting, and no selling of any data to anyone.

5. Children

Sakura Cinema is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13.
